Friendly Fridays - The Positives

The first Friendly Fridays post, I have no idea what I want to post about. There are so many positives that come with having autism. Most of the time you see that everyone talks about the downsides that come with autism. Well today will not be like that.

I have met many people on the spectrum throughout my life. Many younger than myself, a fair number that are older. One thing that always amazes me is the ability to learn. I'm not talking about sitting in classroom full of other people. I'm taking about learning in their own way. For my I like to watch someone go off and do it, then I can repeat. Once I can do that I learn why I'm doing it. Everyone have different ways that they like to learn, I think there needs to be more concentration on how to teach different people with different learning styles. Another good attribute they many people on the spectrum share is perseverance. It takes so much dedicating to line everything up, place them just hope you want them and leave them that way. The sheer level of self-control that can be presented by someone on the spectrum is often overlooked or underestimated.
