Adaptation Series: Introduction

I have decided to do a series of posts that have a common subject, this series will be a non regular series, meaning that I don't have the intention of doing a post on a certain day for it but will be doing hopefully at least one post per week on this subject.
The aim of this series is to help parents and us spectrum dwellers alike. The whole subject of this series is how I have adapted to live with my limitations. These range from my inability to use public transportation, to my inability to drink alcohol. I know that for some people you may not see any need to adapt but without adaptation out lives would become greatly limited. I am hoping that this series will make for good reading and will hopefully help with people who are struggling with the same issues I am.
Adapting to the problems that plague us is not just a a traits of someone on the spectrum, but is one that is a part of us all. The only difference is some of us have more adapting to do than others. I am hoping to have the first post in this series published later on today.

Thanks for reading and as already, remember a little patience can go a long way,

Spec.
